Blue Cat is a unique and intimate venue based in Heaton Moor, just outside Manchester. Both touring and local bands regularly stop off at the Cat including many international artists coming from as far a field as Australia, Boston, New York, Chicago, Germany and Norway. Memorable highlights from recent times include Electric Six, Johnny Marr, Haven, Curtis Eller and Viva Stereo.

Hi.
I am a 16 year old jazz, funk and Blues keyboard player from Altrincham. I have recently put together a 4/5/ piece group clled The Groove ALlegiance. So far we have had moderate success playing at The Cinnamon Club, The Castle, Oldham, private functions and hopefully will be playing the Manc Jazz Festival in 2008. We were wondering if theres any chance of a gig at all at you club, and although ive never been, it sounds like a really great vibe. We would be very cheap, and happy to go on as a ’suport’ act.
